Born and raised in the long forgotten countryside of Visalia, California, Corey Nickols grew up playing in rivers, fabricating forts and unknowingly living out his Huckleberry childhood. A true nerd beckoning to be bullied, he filled his time building rockets, watching Dragonball Z and baking is little heart out. At the age of 8, he created his first photo album. An underwhelming collection of work containing images of his loving family roadtripping through the Pacific North West. The back seat view from their station wagon only encouraged his imagination to grow. He expanded his curiosity and craft by attending an art school and graduating with a Schrödinger BA that no one has ever seen (It's alive...I swear).

Currently Corey resides in Pasadena...but always fudges and says Los Angeles when provoked by strangers. He celebrates his dyslexia by channeling the nostalgic whimsy upbeat wonder from his youth into everything he envisions. Sources of joy include seeing pugs, downplaying his obsession with anime, God forsaken mis-adventures in snowboarding, listening to music no one likes, barely learning Japanese and Spanish, wtf is up with quantum mechanics and connecting with other outcasts and misfits.
